April 08, 2022 The Scientific Advisory Board is established as a key body within the EF CLIF structure The Scientific Advisory Board is a consultancy body whose main mission is to convey its opinions about our operating activities, annual research plan, publication policy and other strategic issues to the Executive Scientific Committee.

BARCELONA—The establishment of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) represents a step forward in the consolidation of the Euroepean Foundation for the Study of Chronic Liver Failure (EF CLIF). The SAB is constituted by 12 members that will meet every year to review EF CLIF activities and draft a report highlighting areas of improvement and recommendations for further development.

Members of the SAB were invited to attend a first meeting at the EF CLIF Headquarters in Barcelona, Spain, on 4 April 2022, where the EF CLIF Director, Chair of the EASL-CLIF Consortium Steering Committee and Principal Investigators at EF CLIF presented major achievements and milestones in the previous 5 year.
